BBTB2 MINI MONOGRAMS CHALLENGE

Good morning
This is me posting from my ancient desktop as my laptop is in the computer shop who have confirmed that I have lost all my files but are attempting to fix the laptop so all my files are gone!! So a huge lesson learned here I must back up regularly!

Anyway over at BBTB2 this week our readers chose Mini Monograms and Heather asked us to use any of the numbers in any form for our projects. Guess who read the challenge wrongly yes me! so I used letters! Another lesson learned read the challenge details properly lol! In my defence I have had a stressful week with my laptop and more importantly Connor starting college!

So here is my project for this week. I made a card and a matching charm bracelet for a little girl called Isabella, who goes by the shortened name Issy. The papers used for the card are backing papers in a soft green houndstooth from MAMBI baby girl stack and the letters cut using pink C'ordinations card with Mini Monograms. I just added two ribbons tied through one of the holes of the first and third letter to finish off and printed the sentiment over the backing paper. For the bracelet I broke up a chain necklace from my stash and also the little crystal bead charms were from my stash and just attached with jump rings. The pink letter charms are shrink plastic cut at 4" (I used multicut 3 times) then shrunk down with a heatgun. Just added a little green ribbon to match the detail on the card to finish. The ribbon, C'ordinations card and shrink plastic are all from Hobbycraft.

Please take a minute to visit BBTB2 and see the fabulous projects my DT sister have come up with this week and why not play along with us!

Finally just a quick update on Connor's first week in college. The support he has received so far has been wonderful, he's still very nervous and overwhelmed with it all at the moment but I feel very reassured that they will support and care for him there very well.

Enjoy the rest of the week
