BBTB2 PAPER DOLL DRESS UP GENIE LAMP CHALLENGE 'TEA FOR TWO'

Hello there
Well I've been away for a few days I took Connor and his friend Dan down to the caravan in West Wales for a little break as they have just finished their GCSE's so it was a well earned break for them. They had a great break and we had a fab day out at Oakwood Theme Park too!
Well back to the challenge over at BBTB2 this week and Julia from the Design team chose the Genie lamp cut from Paper Doll Dress Up cart for us to play with. When I saw this cut all I could see was a teapot and the song Tea For Two kept going through my head lol!
So I decided to make a Tea For Two little shadowbox card. I made the little shadowbox in DS using squares from Plantin School. The card measures 6x6" and 1/2 inch deep. The little girl and boy having tea are from A Childs Year cart cut in shadow twice and base once for a bit of depth. I cut the teapot (genie lamp) 3 times and cut the lid and base off the third one and inked with a pink Versacolour chalk ink. I have also inked around the frame and the figures.I handcut a little  hanging sign which is hung by 2 jump rings to the top of the frame and finished the sentiment off at the bottom of the frame ana added a couple of tiny pink heart gems.  (Sentiment is computer generated) I added a pink frosted heart from my stashto the teapot and finally 3 pink roses from Hobbycraft to the top corner. All papers are Pink Petticoat. This card reminds me of when I was little as my mum had a black lacquered jewellry box which my dad got her from Japan when he was in the Navy. I used to love to open it and see the little ballerina spinning round to the song ' Tea For Two' I must ask her if she still has it!
Hope you will visit us at BBTB2 the DT have made the most fantastic creations using the Genie lamp and we would love to see your take on this weeks challenge!
Thank so much for visiting
