BACK TO SCHOOL! CUTTLEBUGSPOT

Good morning all
Over at the Cuttlebugspot this week Nilda asked us to make a project celebrating Back To School. My son Connor is back to school next Thursday and at 15 he is not well pleased lol!
Anyway I made a card with the apple border feature from Doodlecharms Cricut cart.
The card is DL and covered with some b&W paper which I thought looked like a blackboard and is from an old DCWV paper stack. The apples are cut in white for the border feature and an apple green( I had to make this colour on my computer to get the colour I wanted!) photo glossy although the pics don't really pick up the gloss! I coloured the stalks with promarkers and then embossed with a quickutz stripe folder. The apples are embossed with cuttlebug folders numbers folders to represent maths lessons, script folder for English lessons and music folder for music lessons. the back to school are just some little stickers cut up from my stash and I made the cute little red gingham bows using my Glitter Girls bow folder (I love this little tool it makes making bows sooo easy!)Apples are pop dotted for dimension and I was done!
Please come over to the Cuttlebugspot and see the wonderful projects my DT sisters have come up with this week and be sure to join in we would love to see your take on the challenge!
Have a great Bank Holiday I'm just off to work!!

Hi Julie

What a gorgeous creation.

Love the way you have embossed each apple to represent different subjects. Fabulous idea!

The kids holidays certainly seem to have gone very fast this year - poor Connor.

Love Jules xx

Fab card Julie, the apples look good enough to eat. I'm sure your son will be just fine once he is back with his friends (that's what I was always told, but wasn't too true tho, I much preferred being off).
