CHRISTMAS IN JULY! CUTTLEBUG SPOT CARD

Good afternoon everyone
I'm feeling really groggy today full up with cold, sore throat and thumping head, I blame all this weird weather we're having at the moment one minute sunny the next torrential rain! I suppose that's typical weather for the UK!!
The paracetamol have kicked in so I thought I would post my DT card for the Cuttlebug Spot this week!
Nilda set us a task this week Christmas in July! Now I am naughty I never make Christmas cards I buy them!! To be honest it takes me so long to make a card that if I did hardly anyone would get a card at Christmas lol!
Having said that I really enjoyed making the card!
My card is A5 in size(8 1/2X11" folded in half) I covererd the front of the card with pre embossed gold mirricard which just has some embossed pattern over the right top side. I then cut two mound type shapes from white card which I cuttled with the Sizzix dots folder ( from the dots and flowers set it is nearly the same as CB Swiss Dots but the dots are a tiny bit bigger) for a snowy landscape. The sleigh is cut with my Cricut and Christmas Cheer cart @ 3 3/4 shadow in white, base and layer in gold mirri. I cut a couple more to adhere together to make it more dimensional. The top layer is cuttled with another of my new CB folders Victoria which I really like and will be using this one lots! I adhered white pom poms from Hobbycraft along the top of the sleigh and some white rope like cord also Hobbycraft in between the sandwiched pop dotted layers of the sleigh to look like reins. The presents are just hand cut little shapes which I embossed with little bits from the Christmas bauble A2 CB folder and the little embosser which comes in the CB snowman cut and emboss set. Added some gems, sequins and pearls. Some snowflake buttons in the top corner and the sentiment is from my stash and joined on the cord with gold jump rings. Phew I think that's all! This card was fun to make but a pain to photograph it is so shiny!
We'd love you to join in with us at the Cuttlebug Spot this week and see some of your gorgeous Christmas creations and the winner of this weeks challenge will win a $20 gift certificate for Custom Crops!

Thanks for looking and have a great week all!

Julie this is amazing, I love the size as that allows more area to play with and that can be hard sometime on a card. The mirror card is just stunning, it really sets the whole card off.

Pop on over to my blog I have something for you
