This week over at BBTB2 Heather our wonderful team leader chose the cut for us and it's the sunglasses from Forever Young cartridge. You can use any sunglasses from any cart if you don't have this one.
These glasses remind me of the sunglasses my mum wore when she was young which remind me of cat's eyes hence my card today!
I used a 6x6"card and the backing paper is printed from the Pink Petticoat Lola Rose collection. The lovely cat is cut from Paisley cartridge (p73 tab cut so no markings on the cat) , I used design studio to size the glasses before cutting as they needed to be under 1". The glasses are cut using tiny leopard print pattern from the same Pink Petticoat collection ( I cut the arms off the glasses by hand) and the lenses cut with black mirricard (they are very shiny in real life although my photo doesn't show that!). The sentiment is computer generated fonts are Andy and Gigi. Everything is pop dotted on to the card for a little dimension and gems added for a bit of sparkle!
This would have been a quick and easy card but after trying to draw feline features and 6 cat cuts later I realised that drawing is definitely not my forte lol! so I settled for a little heart gem nose!

Super fun indeed.... I love the colors, and those sunglasses look like a pair I actually wore in the fifties. Love your take on the challenge.

Seriously, the cutest kitty I've ever seen. So stylin'. My favorite color combo, too. It doesn't get better than pink and black.
Look at his little gem nose! That is so sweet! What an adorable card and it's in my favorite color scheme...pink, white and black.
Oh Julie this is such a Puuuurrrfect card, lol! And how funny we both remember our Moms wearing these and I was looking for those pics of my Mom and found some of me when I was small and I had some of these too, just not with the bling, I think I was trying to forget those pics because I don't remember me having them, lol! Love the kitty, so puuurrrfect with the shades, love it!
