CROCHET FLOWER

Good morning
I've been learning how to crochet flowers! It's amazing what you can learn on You Tube! I found this great site that has all sorts of wonderful tutorials and ideas its called Little Birdie Secrets.
There is a little story behind this card I originally made it for this weeks Cuttlebugspot Challenge but I totally got the wrong week! I seem to be having one of those weeks, hmmm I put it down to my age lol I will be turning 50 this year!
Anyway I've been crocheting lots of these little flowers so I thought I would male this card
It's 5x7" and embossed with a CB folder from the Oh My Crafts exclusive shapes bundle folder. I cut a green 'stem' and embossed with Swiss Dots CB folder. I handcut the leaves paper is from Patty Picklicious CD and added my pink crochet flower and a dotty button . The Happy Birthday is compute generated. Lot's of white space on this card but I liked it left simple and you'll probably be seeing more of these little flowers on my cards as I can't stop making them lol!

Wow I just love these little flowers, they add so much to a card. Love the design, the white space is great. The link you put for Little Birdies Secret doesn't seem to be working.

It's so, so pretty, Julie! GREAT job on the crocheting, girl! Looks like we both get a whole year of blaming things on our age! LOL! Love that embossing folder! Haven't seen it yet.

Oh Julie! This is fabulous my friend! I love the clean elegance about it, and that background folder is too die for. You did an amazing job on the crocheting of the flower, I'm so loving this, as I do all of your wonderful creations. How fun is this to change up from the norm every once in a while. Keep crocheting, I'm thinking of buying some of your flowers if you are selling them. Miss ya!

Hugz, xx
