PRINCESS PARTY FAVOUR . THE CUTTLEBUGSPOT

Good morning
Hope everyone is coping with this freezing weathe! Here in Wales it started to warm up a bit yesterday and the snow started melting, I'm not holding my breath though there is more snow forecast for tomorrow!
This week at the Cuttlebugspot Nilda asked us to make party favours.
This is one of the reasons I love doing these challenges I can do girly! Having a son I have spent years making boy stuff!
On to my favour, I decided to make a favour that could be used for a little girl having a Princess party. The triangular box is one I've made lots of in the past and is so easy to do just a few scores and folds and punch some holes at the top and you can make them in any size (I got the instructions ages ago from Crafters Companion)
I used my Cricut and Happily Ever After cart to cut the crown at 3" on shadow and base and the base is embossed with CB Moroccan screen folder. The crown is pop dotted for dimension. Papers used are Pink Petticoat. Princess is cut with an Ellison die and I added lots of pink gems and finished off with some pink and white netting.
Please come on over and see the wonderful favours the rest of the DT have made at the Cuttlebugspot and let's see yours too! The prize this week for the winner is a voucher for £15 from the Craftbarn!
Have a great week everyone and keep warm!

Just stunning Julie, I love all the extra touches you always add. I know what you mean, I think I am going through my girly stage too as I was a real tomboy and then having a boy as well, I love anything Pink too.

PS. Snow is starting to thaw here as well but we are scheduled for more.

Girls love princess parties a lot. It make them feel special and on top of the world. My sister in law arranged it in a totally different way. Barbie cake and pink ribbons with balloons were ordered at event locations for décor. Other party supplies were also timely. Liked the pizzas and hamburgers a lot. Fried and Chinese food was also well prepared.
