HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Good Afternoon everyone
I made this card for my wonderful Mum! As you know if you read my blog that I have lost my mojo of late lol! so this card took me ages to make! I hope my mum likes it though.
I used Pink petticoat for the patterned papers from the Lola's Boudoir collection CD printed in powder pink. The chandelier is printed from scrapnfonts and blinged up with gems and glitter and an organza bow. The black scallop is a felt Papermania ribbon which I also blinged with gems! The sentiment is computer generated Castellar font and a fancy font (sorry can't remember the name) for mother

I've been Tagged!

Good afternoon all
I was tagged by two wonderful ladies Lillie and Sandi to post the 4th picture in my pictures file. Well all my cards are in this file so I chose a photo file which I had scanned some old photos into a couple of years ago and this is the 4th picure. It's of my wonderful son Connor when he was a baby! Aw wasn't he a cutie! Mmmmm he will be 16 this year and towers over me! (well that's not hard as I'm only 5ft tall lol!) Oh where do the years go!!
I should have done this a couple of weeks ago when I was tagged so sorry I'm late! I expect everyone has been tagged by now so I'm not passing it on but anyone out there who would like to share their photos I would love to see them!

POPPY AND OLIVIA MAKE CARDS!

Good morning all
What a busy day we had yesterday! My son Connor always has his two friend Jack and Daniel over on a Saturday to Game and have fun. Well Daniel has a sister Poppy who I promised could come over and make cards and Connors friend Olivia decided to come too! So I had a house full of 5 kids aged between 12 to 15 to feed dinner and tea lol! Connor is my only child so hats off to all you mums with big families I don't know how you do it!
Having said that lots of fun was had by all and the girls were oohing and ahhing over my craft stash and couldn't wait to get in and have a go! So armed with the big shot lots of punches card and bits and bobs they got stuck in. They were particularly taken with my DCWV stacks!!
They made about 10 cards each and were so excited when I said I would show them on my blog and can't wait to come back again as I said next time we would make some cards using my Cricut!! So here they are and some of the cards they made! Didn't they do a great job!

BIRTHDAY CARD FOR LILLIE!

Hi and Happy Friday all!
Well Craft Day is over now on QVC thank goodness my poor purse is groaning lol! Great value though and I will look forward to the postman delivering my goodies next week! What did you all buy do tell! I got some DCWV x2! some American Craftsx3!!! and some acrylic tags and alphabets!
Anyway I'm posting the Birthday card I made for my dear dear friend Lillie across the pond. I 'met' Lillie on the Cricut MB and we have become great friends.
It was her Birthday on Monday so I can post the card now as I know she has received it! happy Birthday Lillie hope you had a wonderful day!
I made the card using my favourite new black and white papers from Personal Impressions called the Harmony collection. A strip of B&W flourish ribbon from my stash and A turquoise large and small flower cut in half. I adhered turquoise skittles (rak'd from Lillie! Thanks Lillie) down the side of the card and the birthday is from Paper Cellar and made up of tiny little silver beads. A few of the beads adhered for the centre of the flower too.
I willprobably be using this paper a lot more as I love it!!

THANK YOU CARD AND BOX ENVELOPE

Hi everyone
I'm trying to drag myself away from QVC craft day as I am being too naughty buying too much!!
Just been watching Nancy from DCWV so I thought I would post the Thank you card I made for my blogger friend Enfys who so kindly did some shopping for me when she was in the US.
The card and box were made using the Luxury Stack from DCWV and some cream and pale blue pearlescent card for card base and matting. For the card i used cricut MM cart for the scalloped circle and adhered pearls around the scallops and circle punch. thte thanks was computer generated and clear dome sticker adhered over the top.Martha Stewart Doily punch in cream then some lush pale blue double satin ribbon.
The box was made with Wildcard cricut cartridge and slightly stretched to fit in design studio. made up with some acetate in the window.
The patterned card from the luxury stack didn't photograph too well but the papers in this stack are beautiful.

I'm Back But Still No MOJO!

Hi Everyone
Well I've really lost my mojo so far in 2009! Alas it still hasn't returned but I needed to make a 21st Birthday card. It's very plain not many creative thoughts coming through at the moment lol!
It's 6x6 white card base with a DCWV pre embossed card front pop dotted on the front. Red glitter card was used for 21 cut with szzix dies and pop dotted. Sentiment and name computer generated SNF charmed I think from scrap'n'fonts layered on red foil and pop dotted again. Lots and lots of red gems too!
On another note I would really like to thank everyone that has been visting my blog and leaving me some wonderful awards and I will be posting them real soon. Thank you so much everyone!
So I am hoping that my mojo starts coming back real soon!!
