BBTB2 'LITTLE BOY BLUE' CHALLENGE

It's Monday and time for our BBTB2 challenge and this week's host is our lovely Suzanne who is so excited as she is expecting her first grandson any time now! In honour of his birth Suzanne asked us to create a project for a boy using the colour blue and our Cricuts.

I chose to make a new baby card.
My card is 6x6" and all papers are Making Memories. I used Wrap It Up Cricut Cartridge for the stork tag which is cut at 5" blackout in blue/green check and top layer in white.It's a boy is from Holiday Cakes cartridge and cut at 2 3/4" shadow in blue gingham and top layer in white.All ribbon added is Making Memories too and the little dummy embellishment is from Meiflower.co.uk. Everything has been pop dotted for a little dimension.

BBTB2 'WINGED THINGS' THINGS THAT FLY IN NATURE CHALLENGE

It's BBTB2 challenge Monday and this week our awesomely talented DT sister Sandi Kelly chose a topic of  'Winged things' for us! Any creature with wings and there are thousands on your Cricut cartridges so we hope you'll join in too!

 

I chose to make a card using this  gorgeous doily from Cindy Loo Cartridge. The original cut has a scalloped edge so I took it into Design Studio and hid the edge using  'hide contour'  and welded to a square to create my card front. My card is 62 square and there is a blackmat then the lilac litter mat then the top layer is pop dotted for dimension.  A Happy Birthday rub on has been added and some lilac gems placed around the card.

ANOTHER BRACELET!

 

 

 

 

Hiya

 

I made another bracelet today! This could become addictive lol! This one is made with black crystal rondelles, silver spacer beads and silver bugle beads and looks much prettier on than in the photo as all the facets of the crystals really twinkle :) so hard to photograph twinkles!

 

Must go make my DT card for BBTB2 now so I can settle down for the new series of Downton Abbey tonight! Can't wait!

SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERET FOR ME!

I've been dabbling in something new for me, jewellry making! Here are a few of my attempts! It's a new hobby for me, I don't think it will replace my love of papercrafting but I can do it whilst watching TV.
The first one I made was the black  crystal bracelet and earrings, then I thought I'd try a knitted wire and black crystal bracelet and finally I made this cha cha bracelet with glass pearls and crystals.
I'm really enjoying making these I hope you like them
