BBTB2 FROM MY KITCHEN APRON CHALLENGE AND A BLOGHOP!!
Good morning
Happy Bank Holiday on this gorgeous sunny Monday!
It's time for another challenge over at BBTB2 and this week Penny chose the apron cut from the From My Kitchen
cart.
This is such a pretty apron I decided to make a little cookie holder which is super simple! I ust cut 2 aprons one on flip at 6" using card which has been printed on both sides using one of my new Pink Petticoat downloads which has the most gorgeous vintage flowers and bud papers influenced by Cath Kidston. The back side of the card has been printed with co-ordinating stripey paper from the download and the pockets with pink polkadot. I sandwiched a little cellophane bag in between the apron which I used to hold my cookies. I decorated my apron with some pink trim, some pink gingham ribbon and a little heart to finish. The top of the apron acts like a little handle! Sorry about the quality of the photos as these were taken at 2am this morning!
Please visit us over at BBTB2 and take a look at the fabulous apron creations my DT sisters have created this week and of course we would love to see your take on the challenge too!!
Finally last but not least it's the end of the month so time for another Bloghop! If you are already on the hop you should have reached me from the Wonderful Theresa (aka Treefrog). Just leave me a comment and a contact email if you don't have a blog and I will choose a winner on Saturday 4th September for my little candy below. Next on the hop today is the Fabulous Carole (aka Crayola) so hop on over straight from here!
Have a wonderful week everyone!
